Longer vehicles to trial Roelands Hill


Having listened to appeals from the transport industry, the State Government will allow a trial to assess whether longer road trains measuring 36.5m should be allowed to travel down Roelands Hill on the Coalfields Highway. Currently, road trains measuring 27.5m can descent Roelands Hill but longer vehicles have to stop and break down. The trial follows upgrades to the highway over recent years.
